The Chief Magistrate of Entebbe, HW Stella Maris Amabilis together with Senior Magistrate Grade I, HW Edgar Tusiime Tibayeita, this week took two days off to sensitize different communities under Entebbe Magisterial area about the Small Claims Procedure (SCP). 

This was in response to the law registration of cases under this innovation.

Accompanied by a team from the Public Relations and Communications Registry, they visited Kitooro, Entebbe Town, Kasenyi and Kigungu landing sites. 

They explained to the communities the benefits of SCP to the public, stressing its effectiveness in reducing case backlog and facilitating timely debt recovery for civil claims less than Shs10million. 

HW Amabilis emphasized that SCP is designed to help parties to resolve civil disputes quickly and inexpensively without the aid of advocates.
